BREAKING NEWS! Proposed “New” Waiver Published in Federal Register!

The Obama Administration announced in January their desire to help foreign nationals, who are in the U.S. illegally and have the qualifying relationship to a U.S. Citizen, in their ability to receive their immigrant visas abroad with very little risk of prolonged separation from their loved ones. The proposed regulation will allow for foreign nationals to apply for a Provisional Waiver while they are still in the United States so that when their consular interview is scheduled, they can depart the U.S. and appear at their interview with the confidence and security that they will soon thereafter return home, in legal status, to their family and friends. On April 2nd, the proposed regulation was published in the Federal Register. Copy and Paste the below link to read the regulation in its entirety. Remember: Waivers are VERY, VERY complex. It’s important to note that you will only have ONE SHOT at getting a provisional waiver approved. There is no right to appeal a denial! You must make sure that you have experienced and competent representation when and if you file!!
